Note on dispute resolution
The EU Commission provides on the website https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home2.show&lng=EN the possibility to conduct a complaint procedure for online dispute resolution for consumers (OS). We are not willing and not obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
Information security and quality management according to ISO standards
Information security, data protection, and reliable quality processes are an integral part of our daily operations, projects, and decision-making processes.
For many years, we have been implementing established security and quality practices throughout our organization, including access controls, data protection measures, secure software development, risk management, and ensuring stable operations.
To make these practices more transparent and uniformly measurable, we are currently completing formal certification audits according to ISO/IEC 27001 for information security and ISO 9001 for quality management.
These audits formalize what has long been standard practice: structured processes, clear responsibilities, and continuous improvement. They provide our customers and partners with independently verified confirmation of our security and quality levels.

General Information Security Policy
Protect the company's information and IT assets (including, but not limited to, all computers, mobile devices, network equipment, software, and sensitive data) from all internal, external, intentional, or accidental threats and mitigate the risks associated with theft, loss, misuse, damage, or corruption of these systems;
Ensuring that information is protected from unauthorized access. Users may only access assets for which they have specific access rights. The allocation of privileges must be strictly controlled and regularly reviewed.
Protecting the CONFIDENTIALITY of information. When we talk about the confidentiality of information, we are referring to protecting the information from disclosure to unauthorized parties;
Ensuring the INTEGRITY of information. The integrity of information refers to protecting information from unauthorized changes;
Maintaining the AVAILABILITY of information for business processes. The availability of information refers to ensuring that authorized parties can access the information when needed.
Compliance with and, wherever possible, exceeding national legal and regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices;
Continuously improving the information security management system by implementing corrective actions that increase its effectiveness;
Developing, maintaining, and testing business continuity plans to ensure that we stay on track despite any obstacles we may encounter. It's about “keeping calm and carrying on”;
Raising awareness of information security by providing information security training to all employees. Security awareness and targeted training must be conducted consistently, responsibility for security must be reflected in job descriptions, and compliance with security requirements must be expected and accepted as part of our culture;
Ensuring that no action is taken against employees who disclose an information security issue by reporting it or contacting the head of information security management directly, unless such disclosure clearly indicates illegal activity, gross negligence, or repeated intentional or deliberate disregard of regulations or procedures;
Report all actual or suspected information security violations to informationssicherheit@basecom.de.

Failure to comply with the guidelines and standard statements in this policy may result in disciplinary action, including, but not limited to, informal or formal warnings, up to and including termination of employment.
